Kim Mi-rey (Cheongheon) holds a PhD in Philosophy from Sungkyunkwan University and a Master’s degree in Confucian Studies from the university’s Graduate School of Confucian Studies. Deeply grounded in calligraphy and East Asian aesthetics, she is widely recognised for an artistic practice that brings together scholarly depth and refined visual expression. She has served as an invited artist and judge of the Korean Calligraphy Association and has been featured as an invited artist in major calligraphy exhibitions, including the Gyeonggi Calligraphy Grand Exhibition, the Korean Chusa Calligraphy Exhibition, and the Shin Saimdang–Yulgok Calligraphy Exhibition.

Her works are held in the collections of notable institutions such as the Korean Calligraphy National Museum, Chuncheon National University of Education, the Korea Art Museum, and the Jeonju Gangam Calligraphy Foundation. Alongside her artistic career, she continues to pursue research and creative practice that thoughtfully bridges art and scholarship.

청헌 김미례는 성균관대학교에서 철학 박사 학위를, 동 대학 유학대학원에서 유학과 석사 학위를 취득하였습니다. 서예와 동아시아 미학에 깊은 뿌리를 두고 있는 그녀는 학문적 깊이와 정제된 시각적 표현을 결합한 예술적 실천으로 널리 인정받고 있습니다. 한국미술협회 서예부문 및 각종 서예대전의 초대작가 및 심사위원을 역임하였으며, 경기도 서예대전, 한국 추사 서예대전, 신사임당-율곡 서예대전 등 주요 서예 전시회에 참여하였습니다.

그녀의 작품은 예술의전당 한국서예박물관, 춘천교육대학교, 한국미술관, 전주 강암 서예진흥 재단 등 주요 기관에 소장되어 있습니다. 예술 활동과 더불어, 예술과 학문을 사려 깊게 이어주는 연구와 창작 활동을 꾸준히 지속하고 있습니다.
